If you're a horror movie fan like me, then this site will blow you away! Absolutely 1,000's of pics of horror Video/DVD's label covers for you to drool over. Plus click on the corner of any cover and it will ENLARGE! They don't sell stuff, but I've managed to aquire loads of horror films thanks to this site...LOVE IT!

'Wangdangdula' is Pete Hoppula's website and he's based in Helsinki, Finland and his site is great for 1950-60's early r&b, rock & roll etc.. and comes with some great label AND artist discographies and lotsa cool pics!

'Ohio Soul Recordings' is a fascinating website of soul, funk and r&b labels that were once issued in the state of Ohio. Plus has loads of pics of soul artists (with info) and label discographies...Very indepth, informative and WELL worth a look!

'ALAMY' is a website that hosts images...LOADS of images and believe me, they've got nearly 10 MILLION to browse through! I think you can even SELL them YOUR images! It's a search engine like Google really. Try the words RECORD and VINYL for starters and watch all the great crystal clear pics that pop up!

The 'BIGDANCELIST'site is a hilarious website of silly songs! Look for the 'Animated Dancing Pages' in the middle and simply choose a dance....you just GOTTA check out these 3, "I wanna moo", "Battle of the Divas" and "James Brown Dance". Silly, but great fun! (and they're all ok for the kids too!) Remember to turn your volume up.

"Do the mouse with me" is a silly song from 1965 by madcap USA entertainer Soupy Sales and a link actually taken from the 'BIGDANCELIST' site above, but I could'nt resist the fab pounding backing track this has, and it would probably have gone down a storm in the mad Wigan era! Also hear it in full on www.youtube.com That sax sure is something though and would have been great as an instrumental...(or was there one?)

Veronica says if you like early girly and Phil Spector type groups, then 'SPECTROPOP EXPRESS' is a fascinating insight to the 60s girl groups plus lots of other male/female artists and gives PLENTY of info on lots of interesting singers of the past (Inc: quite a few Northern Soul artists) and includes some great pics too.

Me & Virginia found the PSYCHLISTS website, which is an informative site of CANADIAN only singles released between 1966-72. Inc: Rock/Folk Rock/Psychedelic and the odd soul item and includes an A-Z of A&B sides/Labels/numbers/Year of release etc...ideal for mods and collectors of the above genres.

GOOGLE EARTH is ABSOLUTELY fascinating! Once you've downloaded the icon to your computer (which is easy) you just type in your post code and you can ZOOM IN on YOUR HOUSE or ANY house on the planet! FOR EXAMPLE: If you've won a record on ebay from someone, you can even pinpoint where they live! Just look for the GREEN button on the top right hand side of the page which says 'DOWNLOAD GOOGLE EARTH (Free)' and away you go....and yes, you can even zoom in on DETROIT addresses if you know the postcodes! Let me know if you come up with anywhere fascinating! THE KIDS WILL LOVE THIS ONE!!

"AMERICAN MUSIC" is full of early blues info with lotsa great pics and some soundbites for all you collectors who like to see where it all began and see how the soul roots were established inc: Gospel, Blues, Cajun, folk etc... Plenty of very rare blues LP pics with their track listings for you drool over. A guitar and your voice were all there was back then folks...Important stuff for the older generation maybe?

The 'Generator' website is not a record site but guys...you're gonna love this site! It's a trip down memory lane with crystal clear pics of old Convertibles, toys, film posters, old TV ads from the USA. If your stuck in a 50/60s timewarp (like me..) then just sit back and browse through some great pics from those golden days. Love it!

If you loved the Jaws movies then here's the best one I've found recently with video footage and plenty of fans pics from this great sharky movie with interviews and info on all the charactors both past and present..... You'll definately want to watch the Jaws movie again after seeing this site because... "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat"
If you don't like TOY SOLDIERS don't bother reading on. If you do, then THE PLAYSET ADDICT is the best DYNORAMA site I've EVER seen! Basically this guy has assembled his collection(s) of toy soldiers and photographed them. The detail in these photos are absolutely stunning!...and you'll never see such life-like displays as in these fantastic pics. Definately a 'big boys' site for us guys who've never really wanted to grow up...
Andrew Earwak has compiled a cool website on one of my fav' uk girl artists...The HELEN SHAPIRO FRIENDS CLUB has some great label pics and tons of info of all her UK records releases plus pics from some of her recent concerts over the years in the UK. Very informative for fans of this great UK singer.
The official DRIFTERS website take's us on a journey from the early 1950'straight up to the present day line-up, with pics galore, concert tours and their 'unmatchable' and impressive discography of all their Vinyl and CD releases throughout the years. Fascinating features on one of life's ledgendary soul groups!
The Stax discography from 1968-75 is soul at it's purest and will probably never ever be matched, with some of the finest American soul artists to ever record on vinyl. Here on this website is a complete track listing of Stax 45's releases at a glance for your reference plus lotsa info on the label and some mega soulful pics I'd never ever seen before...COOL!

You UK soul collectors out there are gonna just love GLOBAL DOG PRODUCTIONS. Collecting record labels is the name of the game isn't it?...well this site will blow you AWAY! It specializes in AUSTRALIAN, CANADIAN & UK 45rpm releases with near complete dicographies from these countries and there's 100's of record labels to go at with PLENTY of soul releases in this lot. Soul collectors...this site will keep you busy for hours!

Check out female singer DUFFY video singing 'MERCY'. This is probably the closest thing to blue-eyed soul as you'll get. VERY Northern Soul influenced (or was that the intention?) and just DIG those 'flaming' soul dancers.....I played this video 3 times in a row when I first saw it! ...she's a pretty Welsh lass too! Eat your heart out Dusty...!!

If you like to see world records made, then try 'Nakedworldrecords.com' yes...it means what it says, in the BUFF! Don't worry it's NOT a pornographic site but there's plenty of nudity so be warned! Check out the videos like: 'How many naked women can you get into a phonebox?', the 'Worlds first naked orchestra' and the funny 'Worlds fastest male stripper'. Fascinating, sexy and saucy! (well it'll give you a break from vinyl collecting anyway..)
